Casa Wabi foundation is currently presenting the exhibition "Construir/Habitar/Crear" at the San Ildefonso Museum, which celebrates 10 years of community work.

Héctor Zamora explores possibilities in the geometry of construction materials, in this case tiles from the Agua Zarca community (Oaxaca): he explored and implemented a series of improvements in the construction of kilns for burning bricks, which in turn were implemented in the construction of the foundation's ceramic kiln and an instructive workshop was held to make these improvements in other kilns in neighbouring communities.

The work by Terence Gower represents the profile of Rosario Castellanos: it was produced during his residency at Wabi using local clay and traditional clay burning techniques from the coastal region. It is part of a project that consists of the elaboration of portraits in relief of outstanding women in academic, cultural, artistic and social fields who lived during the 20th century.

Until 26 May 2024.
