Last Saturday, March 2, the Luleå Biennial 2024: 'On the Threshold of 1:1' opened, with the participation of Daniel de Paula.

Curated by Christel Mgba and Bruno Alves de Almeida, the biennial "brings together artistic and architectural positions, investigating the drastic changes in Norrbotten's built and natural environments and relating them to analogous contexts around the world, fostering exchanges that may offer new possibilities."

Daniel de Paula's work reflects on how social, economic, and historical conditions produce and shape space. Through his critical investigations, de Paula makes visible the material structures that are reproduced, and sustained, as a consequence of the dominant socio-political structures.
